| | SCORE engages in many educational activities to increase awareness and understanding of Sikh religion and its values in Sikh and non-Sikh communities. SCORE undertakes workshops and conferences; produces written as well as audio-visual materials; informs and reaches out to the policy makers; participate in the interfaith events; and coordinates educational event for children and youth to achieve its mission of education and awareness.
The educational materials on various aspects of Sikh religion include videos on Guru Nanak Dev. Guru Nanak was the first Guru. He founded Sikhism in 15nth Century. Video on Guru Angad Dev and his message is under production. Recent booklet on 400th Anniversary of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh scripture, has brief introduction of Guru Granth Sahib and history of Sikhs in America.

| | In order to educate our children's classmates and teachers about Guru Nanak and Sikh religion, literature has been prepared suitable for different grade levels. It will be a noble effort to spread awareness about Sikhism by arranging through your child's teacher or school principal to have these flyers read to your child's class.

| |  Sharing Your Faith - The Legacy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji is a 15 minutes video on Guru Nanak Dev Ji and legacy of Sikhs. It has received very wide acceptance globally. It has been played in many religious and educational institutions as part of the events across the globe. This video has also been shown at many interfaith events. We recommend the screening of the video in Gurudawars, campuses, work places and educational and religious seminars. It is an excellent way to educate our children, neighbors, friends and coworkers about our great heritage and religion. SCORE encourages you to use this video as part of "Sharing Your Faith" event, diversity workshops, police training on the cultural and religious diversity, college and school events.

| | Booklet on Guru Granth Sahib

| |  With nice colored photographs, this booklet is a brief description of the philosophy of Guru Granth Sahib and Sikhism. In addition, it also describes the last one hundred years of Sikhs in USA. This booklet is a good source of education on our religion. Since its release at the White House, it has been distributed in many cities and at many Sikh events. This was also distributed at many interfaith events since September. We recommend that you make this available to your neighbors, workplace and in any religious and educational institutions.
The Booklet and video are the educational tools and steps towards educating ourselves, our children and rest of the world about Guru Nanak and his great teachings. We need to share information about our religion with non-Sikhs also to make them aware of our religion and its teachings especially in the wake of attacks on Sikhs in mistaken identity.

| | Sahibzadas poster

| |  This poster is first of its own kind, containing a prayer on the 300th Anniversary of the Martyrdom and the great sacrifices of Sahibzadas and Mata Gujri ji. The poster has colorful pictures of Sahibzadas and Mata Gujri ji. The prayer on the posters is inspiring for the youth and children. The blessings sought in the prayer are of particular relevance today, when we need all the strength to uphold our dignity and heritage.
It reads,“WAHEGURU, BLESS ME WITH STRENGTH TO STAND UP FIRMLY AS A SIKH WITH DIGNITY AND SPLENDOUR.”
We urge every Sikh to have this poster in their homes and children’s room so that they drive energy, commitment and inspiration from the life of Sahibzadas and prayer on the poster. We recommend that you may give this poster as gift to your friends and family to commemorate the 300th Anniversary of Martyrdom and to spread the message and values of Sikh religion. The poster is a great way towards remembering and learning the great sacrifices made by Guru’s and their families for our religion. Spread the message in our families, to our children and rest of the world about Guru Nanak and his great teachings.
